How can the Pharmacist help?

Our clinical pharmacists work collaboratively with your physician and care team in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Their services assist the physician in achieving enhanced patient outcomes and include:

  • One-on-one consultations in a private setting
  • A review of all your medicines, including specific answers to your questions about over-the-counter medicines, and herbal and nutritional supplements
  • Advice on how to best use your medicine to avoid possible problems, such as adverse effects and drug interactions
  • Cost savings suggestions
  • Guidance to simplify your medicines
  • Assistance in creating a detailed medication schedule
  • Support in monitoring conditions, such as blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugars
