The National Diabetes Prevention Program is a CDC recognized program that focuses on lifestyle change with the goal to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. This is a free year-long program that consists of 16 weekly sessions followed by monthly maintenance sessions. You will learn how to eat healthier, increase your activity level, decrease stress, and ways to overcome barriers to your health goals. You will have the support of your health coaches and will have the opportunity to connect with peers facing similar challenges.
