Gregory Steinmetz, M.D.

Gregory Steinmetz, MD is a Board Certified Family Physician, who graduated from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in 1998, then completed his residency from the Brown University/MHRI Family Medicine in 2001. Dr. Steinmetz has been in private practice at Associates In Primary Care Medicine in Warwick since 2006, where he teaches medical students as an assistant professor in family medicine at Brown University. He is the recipient of the Brown University Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 2015 and the RIPCPC physician of the year for 2014, as well as the chair of RIPCPC’s PCMH committee and the physician liaison to the United Healthcare contract committee.  Outside of his career, Dr. Steinmetz enjoys time with his family, running, piano playing, and volunteering for St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Cranston.
